Europe is not one destination. It is more than thirty, each with its own fees, language rules and visa process. That is why it offers some of the best value in international education — and why applying country by country goes wrong.

Public universities in Germany charge no tuition for most degrees. France sets a fixed national fee for non-EU students. Thousands of degrees are taught in English, so you can enrol without the local language.

Cost is the strongest argument. A German public university charges no tuition, so your real spend is living costs. Even in France, where non-EU fees have risen, the total sits well below the British or American equivalent.

One honest caution. Free tuition does not mean cheap. Germany requires €11,904 in a blocked account before your visa is issued, released at €992 a month once you arrive. Europe rewards families who plan cash flow early.

Entry rules vary more between European countries than within Britain, but the file looks similar everywhere.

• Undergraduate — UAE Grade 12 from CBSE, IB, British, American or MoE curricula; a foundation year may be required
• Postgraduate — a recognised bachelor's degree in a related field
• English — usually IELTS Academic 6.0 to 6.5, or a medium-of-instruction letter
• Documents — attested transcripts and certificates; some countries also ask for apostille or sworn translation

European universities run two main intakes, but they are not named the same way everywhere.

Apply early either way. Gulf consulates work to fixed appointment calendars and autumn slots fill months ahead, so we work backwards from your start date.

Applications route differently by country — some through a central portal, others straight to the university. We handle the routing so you file to the right place, first time.

This is where applicants most often lose a semester. For any course over 90 days you need a long-stay national student visa — a type D visa — issued by the country where you will study.

A short-stay Schengen visa does not permit a degree. ETIAS is not a student route either — it is a travel authorisation for visitors who need no visa at all, and it is not yet in operation. If short-stay travel is what you need, that is a separate service we also run.

Since 10 April 2026 the EU's Entry/Exit System has recorded fingerprints, facial image and every crossing digitally instead of stamping passports. Expect a few extra minutes on first arrival, and note that overstays are now flagged automatically — so travel dates must sit inside your visa validity.

Most European countries offer graduates a job-search period rather than an automatic work visa — commonly nine months to two years, set nationally. You stay, find a role related to your degree, then convert to a national work permit or an EU Blue Card. Salary thresholds apply.

Many graduates return to the GCC instead. A European degree travels well here in engineering, logistics, healthcare and finance. Whichever route you take, we stay in touch through your first job.
