Anglia Ruskin’s Cambridge Campus hosts one of the nine optometry schools in the UK, featuring its own dedicated optometry clinic.
Situated in the Helmore Building in Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin University’s Cambridge campus underwent recent redevelopment. The initiative commenced with the renovation of the primary structure, named Helmore in honor of the late Roy Helmore, who served as the principal of the Cambridge College of Arts and Technology from 1977 to 1986. The refurbishment was successfully completed in 2006.
Subsequently, in 2009, Rackham, one of the university’s largest buildings at the campus center, was dismantled to pave the way for the construction of the new Lord Ashcroft International Business School. This state-of-the-art business school was inaugurated in 2011. Additionally, the Mumford Theatre, situated at the heart of the campus, serves as a venue for a diverse array of professional touring, local community, and student theatre productions, catering to both the general public and university members.
